Where did all
your money go?

A note from the Vylo team

Does it seem like no matter how much you earn, you reach the end of the month wondering where it all went?

You know the big expenses. It’s everything in between that’s harder to pin down. And when your household’s money is spread across different accounts, getting a clear picture can take a surprising amount of work.

Another money app? Really?

Fair question. Some apps are complicated. Others are expensive or packed with features you don’t need. You want to understand your money, but first you have to learn a whole system for managing it.

So maybe you end up back in Excel.

Spreadsheets get something right.

You can organize things however you want. Give categories names that make sense to you. Keep side-gig income separate from salary. Build a budget around the way your household actually lives.

But the control comes with sorting, formulas, and upkeep. Keeping track of your money becomes an unpaid Sunday job.

That’s why we built Vylo.

Vylo brings your household’s accounts, transactions, budgets, and net worth together. It handles most of the sorting while you choose your categories, set your rules, and decide how everything is organized.

You get automation for the repetitive work and spreadsheet-like flexibility for everything else. Everyone in your household can see the same numbers, without passing a spreadsheet back and forth.

Once you’re set up, Vylo keeps things moving in the background and flags what needs a closer look. When you sit down to check the month, you can spend your time deciding what to do next.

There’s no annual commitment. You should have time to see whether it fits, and be free to leave if it doesn’t.

Keeping track of your money should make life easier—and leave you with a little more of your Sunday.

If something isn’t working for you, or you have an idea, email us at hi@myvylo.com. We’d love to hear it.

Thanks for giving Vylo a try.

Four questions.
One place to answer them.

Less time sorting transactions.

Vylo categorizes most purchases automatically. You can enable AI for unfamiliar merchants, then review anything it still can’t place.

Review the ones Vylo couldn’t place.

Pick a category, confirm it, and move to the next transaction. The review queue keeps track of what’s left.

Categorize a merchant once.

Choose a category and check “Remember merchant.” Future purchases from that merchant use the same category.

Make the categories your own.

Rename a category or create one from scratch. Remember a merchant to put future purchases in the right place.

See what changed this month.

Compare spending with the month before. See which categories changed most and what you might want to adjust.

Skip the busywork.

Vylo can see your balances.
It can’t move your money.

Vylo connects through Plaid and Finicity, a Mastercard company. Plaid is the same bank-connection provider used by Venmo, Wealthsimple, and Robinhood. Vylo never stores your banking password.

What am I actually getting?

Connected accounts, transactions, budgets, income, and net worth for your household. Vylo categorizes transactions automatically; you can change categories or add cash purchases anytime.

How long does setup take?

When you first connect your accounts, Vylo imports and categorizes the past 90 days of transactions. This takes about five minutes. After that, new transactions sort themselves—even while you sleep.

Can I use Vylo with my partner?

Yes. Invite them by email. They get their own login and connect their accounts to your shared household. There’s no extra charge for household members.

Can Vylo move my money?

No. Connections are read-only: Vylo can see balances and transactions, but cannot make payments or transfers. It does not store your banking password.

What if a transaction lands in the wrong category?

Change the category, and the budget updates too. You can also create, rename, or merge categories and update several transactions at once.

What does it cost after the first month?

After your $2 first month, it’s $7/month for the whole household. All features are included. No annual commitment; cancel anytime.

Where can I ask a question before signing up?
